Returns & Refunds policy

At Al-Mateen Foundation, we value every contribution made to support our charitable work. Our shop helps raise vital funds through the sale of clothing and accessories, with 100% of profits reinvested into our charitable projects. As a non-profit organisation, we aim to keep administrative costs low, and as such, our ability to offer returns or refunds is limited. However, we are committed to complying with UK consumer protection laws and ensuring fair treatment.

1. Donations

All donations made through our website are non-refundable. This includes one-off or recurring donations, as well as any Gift Aid amounts claimed.

If you believe a donation was made in error or processed incorrectly, please contact us within 14 days of the donation. We will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate.

2. Product Sales – Clothing & Accessories

We hope you love your purchase, but if there is a problem with your order, we will do our best to resolve it.

a) Returns & Exchanges

As a small non-profit, we unfortunately do not offer returns or exchanges for reasons of change of mind, wrong size ordered, or personal preference. Please check all product details and size guides carefully before placing your order.

b) Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

• Faulty or damaged

• Not as described or incorrectly supplied

…then we will offer a full refund or a replacement item, at no additional cost to you.

To report a problem, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, including:

• Your order number

• A brief description of the issue

• A photo of the item, if damaged or faulty

3. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after we process the return or approve the claim.

4. Exchanges (Faulty Items Only)

We can offer like-for-like exchanges if the product you received is defective. Please note that due to limited stock, availability may vary.

5. Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK laws. You are entitled to a refund or replacement if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
